Comprehensive Clean Growth Buildout Guide for Urban Planners

As part of its Renewable Energy/Smart Grid Buildout Initiative, and now an integral part of our Clean Growth Incubator training and buildout Platform, the Center has created a comprehensive step-by-step resource for local urban planning professionals, the Clean Growth Incubator Template (or “Template”). This Template is a step-by step guidance document designed to assist local government with the build out of community-tailored distributed energy-powered local infrastructure as an integral part of the sustainability-driven, crowd-based next industrial revolution. The Template utilizes proven techniques from already successful business and technology incubation projects and renewable energy/smart grid infrastructure buildout approaches.

Jumpstart the Clean Growth Transformation in Your City 

Beginning in early 2021, local government leaders began participating with the Center and our strategic partners in the Clean Growth Incubator training and buildout regimen, a structured Template and webinar-based program designed by urban planning and renewable energy experts to assist cities with developing their own distributed energy-based local infrastructure. Eligible cities are provided with proven planning and buildout strategies from already-successful renewable energy projects, with the overlay of sophisticated business incubation planning techniques. This comprehensive regimen also provides targeted webinar training sessions to assist with the clean growth infrastructure investment and buildout process, and is designed to serve as a catalyst to attract lenders and high-level strategic finance and investment capital, as “shovel-ready” renewable energy/smart grid projects begin to emerge.
